1975
We started out in Budleigh Salterton at Norman's Supermarket - now Norman Crescent. We offered the standard key cutting, repairs and carpet cleaner hire.
The machine we have inside of this shop is the exact same machine that we use today, and it's still going strong. The picture above was taken sometime in the 80s.
1994
In 1994, Tesco Superstore in Exmouth opened, and customers quickly moved over there for their shopping and Norman's closed after becoming a Co-op and was demolished, in 2006, it became a housing estate.
We then moved to 13A Albion Street in the early 2000s where we were for 20 years.
Norman's Super Warehouse
There are very few pictures of Norman's - but this one shows the main store, with Boyne Road and Jocelyn Road to the right. The site now houses Norman Crescent.
2000s - 2020
We stayed in our Albion Street store since the 2000s and after the pandemic, we moved into the former Thomas Cook store just round the corner so we were able to expand our products and services range.
2016
In 2016, we introduced our new engraving service to keep us in-line with our competition, and very quickly we became one of the main suppliers for Exmouth.
